Post as your band

Post photos, a setlist, tonight's show, new merch or a question in the band's own voice, and talk with fans under it.

Once you run a band's page, you can post as the band. Band posts lead the Updates tab on your band's page and reach your followers' feeds.

How to do it

  1. On your band's page, open Manage, then Post. Or go to Post and pick your band under Post as.
  2. Under What are you posting?, pick Photos, Words, Video, Setlist, Tonight, New merch or Ask fans.
  3. Fill in what it needs: up to 10 photos, a YouTube, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Spotify or Apple Music link, one song a line, tonight's show or its venue, up to 6 of the band's official items, or your question.
  4. Add a title if you like, up to 120 characters, and tap Post.
  5. To keep a post at the top of your page, tap Pin to the top under it. Pinning another moves the pin, and Unpin takes it off.
  6. Talk back from Manage, then Comments. Show Questions or Not answered, tap Reply, Pin the best comment, or Hide one that doesn't belong.

Good to know

  • Each post is signed with your name. Link your profile in the band's Lineup to sign with your role too, like Dee, bass.
  • Followers hear about your first post of the day. Later posts that day still show on your page and in their feeds.
  • Fans react with Like, Fire or Wow, and comment. Your replies carry a Band label beside your name. A comment you hide reads only to the fan who wrote it.
  • On a fan's item of your band's merch, tap Love. It shows Loved by the band, and the fan hears about it.
  • Insights shows the views, reactions, comments and new followers of your last 10 posts, under Your posts.
