Delete your MerchVice account
Enter the email on your account and we'll send you a link to delete it. You don't need to sign in or know your password: the link is the proof it's yours.
How it works
- We email a link to the account's address. It works for 30 minutes, once.
- The link opens a page that offers you a copy of your data first.
- Tick the box and confirm, and the account is deleted right away.
This can't be undone. As soon as you confirm, we delete:
- Your profile, photo, banner and sign-in. You're signed out everywhere.
- Every item in your closet and every post, with their photos.
- Your comments, likes, follows, watches and Top 8.
- The messages you sent. The other person sees "Message deleted" in their place.
What stays:
- Your marks' places in line, with nothing that names you, so nobody else's First Print number moves and yours is never given to anyone.
- Reports and moderation decisions, with nothing that names you, so our safety records add up.
- Anything someone reported that a moderator hasn't decided yet, or that is under a legal hold, hidden from everyone but our moderators until that ends. A report about a child's safety is kept at least a year.
- Copyright takedown notices and counter-notices, whole, for three years.
- A scrambled copy of your email, kept only to enforce a ban or suspension if you join again, and so we don't email you meanwhile.
- Photos you added to a band's page as its manager. They belong to the band's page.
