Get followers at your shows

Put a QR code on the merch table. Fans scan it and follow your band in one tap, and you see how many did.

Your merch table is where fans are most into you. Your booth card puts a QR code there: a fan scans it with the phone camera, lands on your band's page on MerchVice and follows you with one tap. New fans who don't have an account join in a minute, and the follow is saved while they do.

How to do it

  1. Open your band's page, tap Manage, then Booth card.
  2. Download the card: Letter fits a stand or a wall, 4x6 fits a table tent or a photo frame. Print it at 100% so the code scans.
  3. Playing a show you added under Tour dates? Open Print a booth card on that show, or the card on your dashboard on the day, and the card names the show, so fans' photos from tonight are dated to it.
  4. No printer? Tap Show my QR and stand your phone against your stock. Turn the brightness all the way up; the screen stays on while it's open.
  5. Got a phone that folds? Fold it like a tent on the table: the code faces the crowd and your new followers count up on your half.
  6. Under the card, From this card shows scans and new followers today, in the last 7 days and all time.

Good to know

  • A fan who scans sees your band photo, your name and one big Follow. Posting a photo of what they got tonight comes second.
  • We count scans and new followers, never who scanned or followed.
  • Your weekly insights email says how many scans and new followers your booth cards brought that week.
  • A printed card keeps working: the code never changes, even if you rename the band.
