Your first steps after joining
Just joined? Get started in a few quick steps that fill your Home: bands you love, your city, what you collect and people to follow.
Once you confirm your email, MerchVice opens your first steps at merchvice.com/start. Each one takes a tap or two, nothing is picked for you, and you can skip any of them.
How to do it
- Open the link we email you to confirm your address. Your first steps open on their own.
- If it asks What brings you here?, pick Fan, Collector, Band, Manager or label, or Just browsing. The steps that follow are the ones for you, and you can change your answer any time in Settings.
- Under Bands you love, type a band's name and pick a few. Their merch fills your Home.
- Under Your city, start typing and pick your city from the list. People and shows near you come first.
- Under What you collect, tap what you're after: Shirts, Vinyl, Posters, Patches and pins, or A bit of everything.
- Follow a few of the people and bands suggested. Each one says why it's there.
- Post your first item if you like: one photo is enough. Then go to Home.
Good to know
- Every step has Skip and Back, so leaving one out costs nothing.
- Came from a band, an item, a giveaway or a friend's link? Your first steps start with it.
- Change your bands, city or what you collect any time under Settings, Your interests. If Settings shows Finish setting up, it picks up the steps where you left off.
- In a band? Tap Claim your page under Bands you love.
- Nobody pays to be suggested.
