List an item for sale

Pick an item from your closet, set a price and see what you keep before it goes live.

Private beta

Buying and selling on MerchVice are in private beta: only the members and bands MerchVice let in can use them. Everyone else can still mark items for sale and settle it in messages.

MerchVice picks the members and bands in the selling beta by hand. If you're in it, Settings has a Selling section.

How to do it

  1. Set up payouts once, under Settings, Selling. Stripe keeps your bank details; MerchVice never sees them.
  2. Add a shipping rate for each region you ship to.
  3. Go to Sell, or tap Sell this on your item.
  4. Set the price, the condition and any flaws, with a close-up photo of each flaw.
  5. Pick a shipping rate and your return policy.
  6. Check what you keep, confirm the photos and condition are accurate, and tap List it.
Go to Sell

Good to know

  • A used item needs photos of the front, back and tag. A new one needs the front.
  • Until payouts are ready the listing waits as Ready, and goes live once they are.
  • To stop selling, tap End listing. The item stays in your closet.
  • Unofficial items, items reported lost or stolen, and items under review can't be listed.
  • Not in the beta? Mark the item For sale and buyers can message you.
