Announce what's coming, and get reminded

Show what's coming with photos and a date, count down to it, and hear when it lands.

A preview shows something before it's out: photos, a name and the moment it lands. Members post them from their closet and bands from their page, and followers count down with them.

How to do it

  1. On your closet, tap Announce what's coming. To announce for a band you run, tap it on the band's page instead.
  2. Add up to 10 photos. The first one leads the card.
  3. Under What's coming, give it a name, like The winter tour shirt, and add a line about it if you like. A band can also add a link to where fans can find out more.
  4. Under When it lands, pick the day, the time and the time zone. Times fall on the quarter hour, from an hour from now to a year out.
  5. Tap Announce it.
  6. Want to hear about one from someone you don't follow? Open it on their page and tap Notify me. You'll hear an hour before it lands and again when it does.
Announce what's coming

Good to know

  • Followers are told without asking: when it's announced, when it lands and, for one announced at least two hours ahead, an hour before.
  • More than 7 days out, a preview shows its day and time, in your own time zone. In its last 7 days it counts down on its card. Add to calendar, beside Share, puts it in your own calendar.
  • Need a new time? On your preview, tap Change the time, pick again and tap Save the new time. That works until an hour before it lands, and nobody is told of the move. Take it down removes it.
  • You can announce up to 3 previews a day for yourself. A band gets 3 a day, shared by everyone who runs it.
  • Opening items for trade at a time you pick is a closet drop, a different thing. Plan one from Plan a drop on your closet. Anyone can tap Notify me on a drop to hear when it opens.
