Bring your band's merch in
Add your official merch from your own store's export file, so it shows on top of your page.
Once your claim is approved, you can bring your official merch in from your store's product export instead of posting each item. Your file is read on your own device, and the items wait in a tray only your band's managers see.
How to do it
- Export your products from your store as a CSV file: Shopify, Big Cartel or Squarespace. Or fill in MerchVice's template.
- On your band's page, open Manage, then Merch, then Bring your merch in.
- Pick your store, type its address if you want each item linked to its page there, and pick the file.
- Tap Add to your tray. The photos from your file are copied in a minute or two.
- Keep what's yours and drop the rest. Check each item's type, and tick Same design? where it's the design MerchVice suggests.
- Tap Post. Each kept item goes on your page as From the band, in its design, with a link to that item on your store.
Good to know
- No prices come over, and nothing is listed for sale. Prices, stock and codes stay in your file.
- MerchVice never visits your store. Only each item's name, type, photo and link are sent from your device.
- Items your page already has from the band wait apart, as Already on your page.
- An item with no photo in the file needs one of yours before it posts.
- Any manager of the band can use the tray. The items go in the closet of the manager who taps Post.
