Control what others see
Where your photos were taken stays private, and you choose what search engines show.
MerchVice strips the location from every photo before it's stored. The rest is up to you, in Settings.
How to do it
- Open Settings, then Preferences.
- Turn off Let search engines show my closet to keep your profile, items, posts and follow pages out of Google and other search engines.
- Turn on Show suggestive posts only if you want to see them. Visitors never see them.
- On a Merch booth shot, turn off Show the venue and city before you post to leave the place off.
Good to know
- The GPS position your camera saved is never shown on MerchVice and never stored with your photos.
- Originals are deleted once they're processed. Only resized copies without that information are kept.
- A birth year, if you give one, is private. It's only used for the Older than you mark.
